Fred Baxter and Charlie Mullins, a pair of dubious villains, break Harold Spook out of prison to retrieve a suitcase containing stolen money which has been hidden in the Hook House hotel under the noses of the proprietor, the retired Major Catchpole, his wife and her sister.

There’s just one snag, who would have known there would be two Harold Spooks in the same prison?
