We were honoured to be named as recipients of a brace of awards at the recent NODA East Midlands regional awards day at the Town Hall, Loughborough.

To celebrate the group’s production of ‘Sister Act’ a special beer named ‘Ale Mary’ was put on sale at the Blue Bell, Bolsover
Our Youth Section took part in their annual showcase evening, ‘A Whole Load of Talent’, in November at the Assembly Rooms. The event saw members of the youth section performing songs, dances and songs played on the keyboard over two evenings.
Saturday 4th November saw Bolsover Drama Group and the Rotary Club of Bolsover team up for an enjoyable race night with a difference to raise funds for the group and the Rotary’s local charities.
The casting committee met on Thursday 12th October to cast the group’s pantomime ‘Mother Goose’.
Members of the group have been hard at work over the past few months helping to organise the group’s costume and props storage areas at the Bannister Chapel in Shuttlewood.

The auditions for our production of Sister Act took place on Sunday 4th and Tuesday 6th June
It was with great sadness that Bolsover Drama Group learnt of the passing of John Blood in December, who had been part of the group since 1991.
