Safeguarding

At Bolsover Drama Group we have a duty of care to ensure we safeguarde our youth members, and those who support them. All volunteers who work directly with the youth section have undertaken an enhanced DBS check, have undertaken Safeguarding and Child Protection training, and are registered with Derbyshire County Council as chaperones.  We also require volunteers who help during productions to undertake DBS checks.

Our safeguarding policy is regularly reviewed and updated to include any changes in legislation or procedures.  You can read the current version of the policy here.
